SUBEB Absorbs Federal
Teachers' Scheme Participants

In his avowed determination to boost the free education programme and to provide sound and qualitative education to the citizens of the state, the education friendly governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio has mandated the State Universal Basic Education Board, (SUBEB) to absorb the first batch of the Federal Teachers Scheme participants into full time teaching profession.
In a release signed by E.D. Esudue-ufuo for the Executive chairman of SUBEB, the screening exercise for the absorption of the new teachers will commence today Thursday 2nd July, 2009 by 9.am at the SUBEB headquarters, participants from Etinan, Ibesikpo Asutan, Ibiono Ibom, Itu and Nsit Atai.
Those from Nsit Ibom, Nsit Ubium, Uruan, Uyo will take their turn tomorrow 3rd July, 2009.
Monday 6th July, 2009 is for Abak, Essien Udim, Etim Ekpo, Ika and Ikono, while Obot Akara, Ikot Ekpene, Ini, Oruk Anam, and Ukanafun will have Tuesday 7th July, 2009 for their screening.
The screening exercise is expected to end with participants from Eastern Obolo, Eket, Okobo Mbo, Esit Eket, Mkpat Enin, Udung Uko, Ikot Abasi, Oron, Onna, Urue Offong/Oruko and Ibeno on Wednesday 8th July, 2009.
All participants are advised to report at the screening venue with their recent passport photographs.
