The State Chief Judge, Justice Idongesit Ntem Isua says she will not relent in her effort to partner with the peace and reconciliations Initiative group

 so as to ensure that people in the state live in peace and harmony with one another.
The State Chief Judge made the pledge recently when the Peace and reconciliation group paid her a courtesy call at the state judiciary headquarters.
Justice Idongesit Ntem Isua, who appreciated the group for their initiative aimed at ensuring peace, unity and reconciliation among groups, individuals, disclosed that the group's vision is in line with the mandate of the judiciary which according to her is to bring justice to the people through legal process.
While- re-emphasising on the importance of justice for a sustained conflict resolution, peace and reconciliation, Justice Ntem Isua explained that through justice according to law, some do not ensure a lasting peace and reconciliation pointing out that the state system has deemed it fit to adopt initiative called an alternative dispute resolution and the multi door court house where conflict and dispute are resolved through mediation.
She called on the public to embrace justice and fairness as a means for conflict resolution while soliciting for peace and order in the society.
Earlier in his remark, the chairman Board of Trustees, of the group Elder Nnamso Umoren who thanked the state Chief Judge for her readiness to partner with the plans of hosting the annual conference for the advocacy of peace and unity among the people of the state, adding that the 2010 edition of the conference tagged “One people, one Destiny, Reconciliation, Peace and Unity, Essentiality For A Sustainability Development will be held on April 8, 2010.
Elder Umoren hinted that the one people, one destiny conference will attract seasoned resource personalities within and across the state.
