Commending the efforts of the staff, secretary of the transition committee, Mr. Imoh Isang revealed the criteria for choosing hardworking staff, since the inception of the transition committee 3 months ago, to include punctuality, duty performance, neatness and mutual relationship among workers. Describing the event as first of its kind, he noted that 2 people were chosen for each month from October to December. While urging others yet to be spotted out by the organizing committee to be hardworking and expressed gratitude to God for a successful service year 2011. Also congratulating the staff, the chairman, NULGE Ibiono Ibom chapter Mr. Eyakedoho Akpan presented the awardees with portrait of their image and cash prize. Appreciating the effort of the council secretary, for initiating and executing the concept of appreciating the workers he appealed that such event should come to stay as this will help encourage other workers. Maximum of two workers where selected for each month from October to December 2011. The awardees include; Mrs. Florence J. Etuk and Mr. Eyo Iwa, best workers for the month of October, Mr. Bassey Utit and Mr. Godwin Udofia as best workers for the month of November while Mr. Ime Akpan and Mr. Etim Peter Okon emerge winners for the month of December. Responding on behalf of the awardees, Mr. Bassey Utit appreciated Mr. Imoh Isang for his kind gestures and promised to be hardworking and as well stay focused. |
