Abak: Lawmaker To Host Solemn Assembly PDF Print E-mail

The member representing Abak state constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Elder Friday Iwok has promised to liaise with the transition committee chairman for Abak local government area, Sir Nkereuwem Richard Ebong to organize a solemn assembly at Goodnews Community International, Abak. Elder Friday Iwok who stated this during his visit to Goodnews Community International, Abak recently explained that the Solemn Assembly became necessary to bring the needed peace, unity, blessing and unity to the area.
Elder Iwok who is the Chairman House Committee on Health informed that he will continue to put God first in whatever he is doing, called on the people of Abak to always be prayerful, assuring that God will continue to do good things to the people of Abak.
He prayed God to give Abak local government area a chairman who would not be selfish, but would rather work for the development of the area.
He lawmaker who donated bags of rice, food items and cash to the children of the community, describing them as brilliant and intelligent children who will grow to become, council chairmen, lawmakers, governors, senators.
He advised them to be prayerful, obey God and respect constituted authorities.
“We bring to you hope we bring to you love, and concern. Do not lose hope, you must remain obedient to God and respect constituted authorities”, said the lawmaker.
Elder Iwok accompanied by his wife, Grace, children, wife of the transition committee chairman for Abak, Mrs. Stella Nkereuwem Ebong, members of the God’s Agenda campaign organization and some senior citizens of Abak, sang danced and celebrated with the children.
In her response, the administrator general of Goodnews Community, Apostle Edem Mboho thanked Elder Friday Iwok for the visit, describing it as unprecedented in the history of representation in the area.
